Project Description
KnowYourOnions.com was developed in London as a side project of a three friends passionate about cooking including Christoph Burgdorfer, the current Managing Director of co&co UK Ltd. The success of the project and great acceptance lead to co&co acquiring Christoph’s share in the project to take it to the next level and roll it out internationally.
The joined effort of the team, where Alex did the design, Erik the content and Christoph the mobile technology, got KnowYourOnions.com with Christoph Burgdorfer as a representative on the short list of the UK Interactive Entrepreneur Award 2009. Being short listed included a field trip to Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad in November 2009.
In March 2010, the final winner of the UK Interactive Entrepreneur Award will be revealed.
